Frequently Asked Questions about Homeopathic Medicines for Constipation

1. What is constipation and how does it occur?

Constipation is a symptom of a medical condition, not a sickness in itself. Fundamentally, it relates to having few bowel movements or having difficulties passing stool. An infrequent bowel movement is defined as passing less than three stools in a single day. Other signs and symptoms include hard stool, inadequate stool, unsatisfactory stool or a feeling of incomplete bowel evacuation, straining at faeces, and, in extreme situations, the need to remove stool with one's fingers.

2. What causes constipation to occur?

There are a variety of variables that might lead to constipation in an individual. For example, a diet lacking in fibre, a sedentary (including a lot of sitting) lifestyle, and a lack of physical activity are all risk factors. Constipation can be caused by a decrease in liquid intake, the use of calcium and iron supplements, and the abuse of medications such as anti-depressants, anti-convulsants, and laxatives. Constipation is a common complaint among pregnant women, and it may be extremely uncomfortable. Diabetes mellitus, spinal cord lesions, hypothyroidism, and irritable bowel syndrome are all medical diseases that have been related to constipation in the past.

3. When people are constipated, they complain of gas and headaches. Are there any additional symptoms that go along with it?

Constipation can manifest itself in a variety of ways, and these are just a few of them. Gas in the abdomen, bloating or distension of the abdomen, discomfort in the abdomen, headache, and nausea are some of the symptoms. When passing faeces, bleeding may occur as a result of fissures or piles, as well as as a result of constipation or when passing hard stool. Pain and burning while passing faeces are some of the other accompanying symptoms. Even after passing stool, the pain and burning in the rectum may continue to bother you.

4. Can constipation cause difficulties if it is left untreated for a long time?

Yes, chronic constipation can result in piles, anal fissures, and rectal prolapse if left untreated. Long-term constipation can also result in the development of an abdominal hernia (inguinal hernia/umbilical hernia). Pile formation is caused by enlarged, dilated veins in the rectal canal or the anus. An anal fissure is a tear in the tissue lining of the anus that occurs in the lower jaw. Rectal prolapse is the term used to describe the protrusion of a portion or the complete rectum through the anus. It is defined as the protrusion of an organ through the abdominal wall or cavity that it is ordinarily contained within.

5. Will regular exercise be beneficial in treating my constipation?

When you have this illness, any type of physical exercise has a significant influence on you. Constipation can be alleviated with exercise by toning up the gut muscles.

6. Can a high-fiber diet help me get rid of my constipation?

A high-fiber diet will undoubtedly help to alleviate constipation to a significant degree, but a comprehensive treatment plan will be required for a complete cure. When it comes to constipation, homoeopathic medications work at the source by addressing the underlying cause of the condition. They activate the body's natural regenerative mechanisms, allowing it to become powerful enough to cure itself. The treatment is both permanent and long-lasting.

7. I've been using laxatives for a long time. Is it possible for Homeopathy to assist me in quitting?

It is true that homoeopathy has the capacity to treat chronic constipation at the underlying cause and eliminate the need for laxatives. Following the initiation of homoeopathy, your need on laxatives will be reduced slowly and steadily over time.

8. Do iron and calcium supplements cause constipation when taken in combination?

It is possible to become constipated while taking iron and calcium supplements, and this is something you should consider.

9. I have firm stool that contains blood; what could be the cause?

Anal fissures or piles are the most common conditions associated with passing hard stool containing blood.

10. The presence of constipation is accompanied by an abundance of gas and distension of the abdomen in my situation (10). What exactly does that imply?

Increased gas, bloated abdomen, and constipation are all signs that you may be experiencing irritable bowel syndrome. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional bowel illness that does not cause any pathological alterations in the digestive tract. Constipation and/or diarrhoea are common symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, and they can occur simultaneously or alternately. Some of the other symptoms include a bloated abdomen, gas, abdominal cramps, and mucus in the stool.

11. Despite leading a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise, plenty of fluids, and a high-fiber diet, I am constipated. Is Homeopathy a viable option?

It is essential to have a healthy lifestyle in order to avoid constipation. However, if you are already living a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a nutritious food, yet you are still experiencing constipation, your situation requires more investigation. The use of natural medications can provide a solution in such a situation. In order to practise homoeopathy effectively, the practitioner must thoroughly examine the symptoms, discover any peculiarities or distinguishing traits, and then select the most appropriate medicine for each patient.

12. Constipation can be relieved by walking and eating healthfully.

Constipation can be relieved by increasing fluid intake, eating a diet high in fibre, taking regular walks, or engaging in other physical activity. Consume fruits, vegetables, whole grain bread, and whole grain cereals to keep your weight under control.

Stimulant medicines, oral anti-hypertensive medicines, and antidepressants are usually used to treat ADHD. The use of medication on children is rather common, especially among parents who are already concerned about possible side effects. The many advantages that homoeopathic medications have over other treatments are mentioned below.

Homeopathic ADHD therapies are natural.

Because it is an ancient 200-year-old medical art and science founded by German physician Samuel Hahnemann, the remedies in this treatment are sourced from nature and free of contaminants. The natural ingredients go towards manufacturing homoeopathic remedies.

There is a homoeopathic remedy for ADHD.

Ritalin, used to treat ADHD, has been shown to have adverse effects include fatigue, anxiety, poor appetite, and slowed growth, among others.

Most stimulant medicines should not be administered to children under age six because of the risk of toxicity or lack dosage awareness. Thirty percent of children with ADHD respond negatively to the first stimulant tried.

Homeopathy is holistic medication for ADHD

Additionally, homoeopathy tries to heal the entire child. The general attention and conduct, as well as any other physical ailments, such allergies, asthma, headaches, and stomach problems, are all targeted.

Individualized Homeopathic Treatment for ADHD

Homeopathic treatment emphasises personalised attention. Rather than grouping children by type, they are considered as distinct individuals instead. This is essential in treating ADHD. For, how can an introverted and quiet ADHD child, who exhibits primarily inattentive symptoms like missing homework, losing toys and tools, and focusing poorly, be given the same therapy as a child who is hyperactive and acts out when stressed?

Really straightforward

A homoeopath spends a lot of time on a person's unique characteristics. That is why homoeopathy does not prescribe the same treatment for every patient simply because they have an ADHD subtype. An appropriate homoeopathic dose can last for months or even a year.

The four primary factors in an ADHD diagnosis are impulsivity, inattention, and hyperactivity.

It is of the utmost importance for parents of children with ADHD symptoms to have a proper diagnosis. The primary issue in this case is that the disorder cannot be detected correctly. A multi-pronged strategy is necessary because there is no single definitive test for diagnosing ADHD. Because the signs of hyperactivity or poor attention may be misinterpreted for other diseases, in-depth testing is essential. The most important variables for determining an appropriate diagnosis of ADHD are:

Because the key symptoms of ADHD that push a parent into seeking an ADHD diagnosis in their child are hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention, the degree of the symptoms is critical when evaluating the illness. Diagnosis requires at least six out of 18 indications of inattention or hyperactivity.

To be diagnosed for the disease, the child must not only exhibit these symptoms but also have a visible detrimental influence on the child's life. For instance, inattention would have resulted poor significant reductions in the child's school grades, especially homework and classwork completion difficulties.

To find this, an ADHD specialist should be evaluating the child's behaviour in a broad range of settings. Not every doctor who makes basic queries about the child's case history is able to get an accurate diagnosis.

First appeared

It takes into consideration issues including when early symptoms arose during a child's formative years. First, did any of the symptoms appear before the age of 7? It can be quite a struggle for the parents and physicians since youngsters between the ages of four and five are hard to diagnose due to their highly changeable behaviour.

The difficulty is that symptoms of inattention in toddlers and preschoolers are difficult to identify since the kids frequently encounter attention-demanding circumstances.

term duration

The symptoms should have lasted for at least six months previous to the diagnosis when diagnosing ADHD is concerned. At least six months and in many settings (such home, school, and playgroup) are required for hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention to manifest.

The things that a specialist will take into consideration include if these symptoms are long-term, do they occur in excess, are they related to an ad hoc unfavourable scenario, or are they the outcome of a more significant condition.

times when symptoms appear

ADHD must present symptoms in more than one location, like at school, at home, or at social functions.

The school psychologist should consider things including the student's classroom behaviour, interaction with classmates, reaction to authoritative figures, and classroom discipline. To diagnose ADHD, the condition must be seen exclusively in one location.

Re-emergent questions

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is defined as:

approximately 3 million youngsters have ADHD Behavioral skills are included. Impulsivity, distractibility, and restlessness are symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Diagnosing ADHD is a complicated process because children's normal development often involves the characteristic behavioural symptoms. Many youngsters (who are not badly afflicted or just partially fit the criteria for ADHD) could have ADHD features. The efficacy of homoeopathic treatment for ADHD varies considerably from individual to individual.

ADHD has several subtypes.

The three subtypes of ADHD are predominately hyperactive-impulsive, inattentive, and mixed.

Children with a “predominantly hyperactive-impulsive” kind of ADHD demonstrate signs of hyperactivity and exhibit restlessness. Also, they may struggle with impulse control. Attention usually isn't a problem for them.

Children with a “predominantly inattentive” form of ADHD are easily distracted, but they have less issue with hyperactivity.

Children with any of the three kinds of ADHD likely to have issues with both hyperactivity and inattention.

ADHD has multiple causes.

ADHD symptoms must be addressed when you find your child in order to seek revenge. “What went wrong?”

However, remember: People with ADHD were not written off as bad parents or poor children. Parenting may not be the true culprit in the development of these problems, since various variables contribute to their appearance.

Other than genetic origins, environmental and nutritional issues could be involved. There are several causes of ADHD, and the prominent ones are these:

It's genetically predisposed.

The genes can also be attributed to the development of ADHD in the child.

Children who have a family history of ADHD have an approximately four to five times greater probability of inheriting the illness.

Also, weaker brain tissue in the brain portion connected to attention capacities may contribute to ADHD. However, if the brain tissues expand to a normal thickness, this condition could disappear.

Studies demonstrate that ADHD brain growth lags three years behind non-ADHD brain growth, although they can catch up with time.

An improved diet will do the trick

Behavioral issues and food can each have a number of ideas related to their role. Some scientists attribute ADHD to diet chemicals, some blame it on a shortage of omega-3 fatty acids, while others believe it is due to refined sugar.

While the link between ADHD and refined sugar has not been solidly proved, the impact of omega 3 fatty acids has a more confirmed relation. Fish oil pills are sometimes advised to alleviate ADHD symptoms and enhance cognitive strength.

The environment is what explains it.

Children who are exposed to tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs during pregnancy are more likely to have ADHD. Cigarette smoke may lead to an oxygen shortage in the foetus.

Lead even heightens the chances of acquiring the illness. Lead, found in architectural coatings, is believed to be an initiating factor. Those who reside in old, lead-based paint-using construction are at an increased risk of developing symptoms of ADHD.

blame it on the brain

Symptoms of ADHD may be caused by abnormalities in the brain. Some abnormalities in the prefrontal cortex that control executive skills can cause this condition. Executive functions enable one to exhibit self-restraint. Executive processes of the brain are linked to the manifestation of ADHD-like symptoms such as hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and inattention.

There is evidence to show that those with less amounts of dopamine in their brains are more likely to have ADHD.

ADHD symptoms include:

ADHD's symptoms are split into two categories. Both are related to inattention and hyperactivity.

The symptoms of ADHD can be graded on a scale of mild to severe. The symptoms presented by a youngster with attention issues include difficulties in focusing attention, frequent distraction, avoiding chores requiring attention, losing items like pencils and toys, and misplacing their stuff.

A youngster who is hyperactive may have difficulties sitting still in school or doing schoolwork, jump around, chat non-stop, interrupt their peers mid-conversation, be impatient waiting for their turn, and have a hard time accomplishing activities quietly and calmly.

Homeopathic anxiety treatments function in a calm, moderate, and efficient way to progressively alleviate the physical and emotional symptoms of anxiety.

Social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, substance-induced anxiety disorder, and separation anxiety disorder are examples of anxiety disorders.

Top 10 Natural Homeopathic Remedies for Anxiety

Is homoeopathy effective in the treatment of anxiety?

Yes, there are various treatments for anxiety that are successful. Because homoeopathic remedies for anxiety are manufactured from natural ingredients, they are safe to use and have no negative side effects. These are used to treat anxiety that ranges in severity from mild to severe (like general nervousness to panic attacks). They function by gaining insight into the person's psychology in order to help them heal completely. There is no chance of drug dependency because these are natural and do not build a habit.

The majority of anxiety problems that are mild to moderate in severity can be treated with homoeopathy. Homeopathy can help treat the symptoms of high-intensity persistent anxiety.

Panic attacks can also be treated with homoeopathy. Natural medicine for anxiety, such as Aconitum Napellus, is an excellent example.

Most Commonly Asked Questions

1. I feel scared, stressed, anxious, and tense easily, and I get palpitations as a result. Is it possible that I have an anxiety disorder?

Worry, tension, anxiety, and tenseness are all natural parts of life, and everyone experiences them at some point in their lives. If these symptoms only last a few days, you are not suffering from an anxiety illness. However, if these symptoms occur regularly and with a high level of severity, linger for a long period, and interfere with your daily life, you may have an anxiety disorder. Only a clinical examination and an in-depth discussion of your symptoms can yield a definitive diagnosis.

2. How can I know whether I'm suffering from panic disorder?

One of the most typical signs of panic disorder is recurrent panic attacks. If you have sudden, regular moments of heightened anxiety and dread, as well as palpitations, shortness of breath, beating heart, dizziness, and sweating, you may have panic disorder.

3. I'm a 30-year-old man who gets nervous, self-conscious and has tremors and palpitations in social situations, therefore I try to avoid them. Do I suffer from social phobia?

There's a probability you've developed a social anxiety disorder based on your worry, self-consciousness, shaking, and palpitations in social situations, as well as your avoidance of them. You should seek the help of a psychologist to confirm the diagnosis.

4. I am a 25-year-old woman with a history of anxiety in my family. Will I be able to do the same?

You're more likely to develop anxiety if you have a favourable family history of it. However, this does not imply that you would develop worry as a result of it.

5. Is there any risk of consequences as a result of anxiety?

Yes, people with anxiety are at risk for consequences such as isolation, relationship disruption, suicidal attempts, and drug and alcohol addiction. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), heartburn, high blood pressure, cardiovascular illness, and weight swings are all common in these persons.

6. Will I have to keep taking my anti-anxiety medication if I start using homoeopathic remedies to treat my anxiety?

You'll need to keep taking your anti-anxiety meds, but only for the first several months while you're getting used to the homoeopathic treatment. It's not a good idea to quit taking your anti-anxiety medication all of a sudden because your body has got accustomed to it, and abruptly stopping can trigger withdrawal symptoms. Once you've found that homoeopathic medicines work for you, you can progressively reduce your anti-anxiety medication and switch completely to homoeopathy.

7. I've been on anti-anxiety medications for a long time because of my anxiety; can homoeopathy help me wean myself off of them?

Yes, homoeopathy can assist you in weaning yourself off of anti-anxiety medications, but it is a gradual process. You will need to use anti-anxiety medication in addition to the homoeopathic drugs until you see a positive response to the latter.

8. How long does a person with anxiety need to be on homoeopathic treatment in order to fully recover?

In any case of anxiety, the recovery time ranges from a few months to a year. Most cases of anxiety, on the other hand, respond quickly to homoeopathic treatment. The period of treatment is affected by factors such as the severity and duration of anxiety, as well as an individual's responsiveness to homoeopathic drugs.

9. Will I have to use homoeopathic remedies for anxiety for the rest of my life if I start taking them now?

No, you don't have to use homoeopathic remedies for the rest of your life because they aren't addictive. You can gradually stop taking the meds if you've improved to the point where you can manage your symptoms on your own.

10. What are the best homoeopathic remedies for treating anxiety?

Aconitum Napellus, Arsenic Album, and Argentum Nitricum are among the top-ranking homoeopathic treatments for anxiety.

11. Are there any negative effects to conventional anxiety medications?

Benzodiazepines and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are among the most often prescribed anxiety medications (SSRIs). Low blood pressure, nausea, sadness, lack of coordination, emotional dysfunction, memory loss, dizziness, weight loss, and other side effects have been reported with these drugs. These medications may also cause a person's symptoms to worsen, which is known as "paradoxical consequences."

10 Min Guided Meditation Session for Beginners (Follow Along)

This is a 10 minutes guided meditation session for beginners as the cozy winters are on full throttle. This in my opinion is an ideal time for a beginner to dive into this divine practice.

well do not worry even if you have never meditated in this 10-minute session, I will guide you at every step. This video is in association with the tribe concepts anti-dandruff treatment kit well more about that later now don't just watch this video.

Come on, take a comfortable seat and let's meditate together. Hello, friends welcome Get Fit Info.

Unlike other yogic practices, the beauty of meditation is that it can be practiced anywhere and at anytime. However, I would recommend that you choose a relatively silent place with minimum distractions. Preferably in a dark room if possible.

Take a comfortable seat on the floor with a mat underneath to avoid earthquakes. You can sit in any asana that you are comfortable in Dhyan mudra also known as samadhi mudra is best for meditation.

Although you can keep your hands, whichever way is more comfortable to you. Now let's begin.

Shall we all right so once you have sat. Comfortably with your spine erect and neck straight gently close your eyes.

Keep your body straight yet relaxed.

Now take a deep breath in through your nostrils and then slowly breathe out through your nostrils.

Do it thrice breathe in deeply. Breathe out slowly. Breathe in and breathe out. Now breathe normally. Focus your entire attention on your normal breath.

Natural breaths do not try to control your breath in any way. Simply watch the breath coming in and then going out. Watch it from a distance do not pass any judgment about it.

Do not criticize it, just accept the way it is. Observe every inhalation and exhalation. Vigilantly thoughts might crop up it's okay.

Do not react to them let them be. Don't even label them as positive or negative. Simply ignore them bring your attention back to your breath at all times.

Keep your attention fixed at the entrance of your nostrils. Just as a vigilant watchman is aware of every person who has entered the building and every person who has come out of it.

Be aware of every breath that comes in and every breath that goes out. Let not even a single inhalation or exhalation pass without your notice be alert be attentive be vigilant.

If you hear some sounds in your vicinity, maybe a car honking a dog barking, birds chirping whatever, it may ignore them. Don't get distracted by them.

Don't label them disturbing or soothing. Either simply bring your attention back to the breath. observe how the air enters your nostrils observe how it feels moving through your nostrils.

Observe the transition between the inhalation and exhalation observe that slight pause between inhalation and exhalation.

Observe how the air moves out to try to observe each passing breath as minutely as vigilantly as you can but observe it from a distance without any judgment without labeling it.

The breath simply is it is the way it is. It goes in and goes out all the time. Simply be conscious of it. Do nothing change nothing.

Initially, when you watch your breath, your mind tries to poke you with thoughts. This that but do not feel irritated or agitated.

It's rather good that you are being aware of the nature of your mind. The more you pay attention to these thoughts the more they will increase in number.

Simply bring your attention back on the breath and you will notice that slowly. But surely the intensity and the quantity of these thoughts will decrease. Remain totally aware fully observant vigilant to every breath that comes in and every breath that goes out.

Doing nothing labeling nothing. Simply watching from a distance without passing any judgment accepting every moment as it is.

Try to observe each passing breath as minutely as vigilantly as you can let not even a single breath go in without your notice.

Try to observe from which nostril you are breathing in. Is it the right nostril or your left nostril is working at this moment.

Pay close attention. it's okay if you are not able to figure it out.

Slowly as you practice you will know to remain as alert as you can. Constantly aware of your natural breath. The incoming breath, the outgoing breath, incoming breath, outgoing breath be completely aware.

Keep your attention fixed at the entrance of your nostrils like a gatekeeper like a watchman aware of every breath entering the nostrils. Aware of every breath moving out of the nostrils.

Let not even a single inhalation or exhalation pass without your notice.

Now slowly open your eyes well done. You have completed this meditation session.

So how was it spending time with yourself taking out just 10 minutes for this session? You will soon begin to feel a calmness within your mind. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg the actual benefits are beyond measure.

Every day you will come up with new observations it's an exciting journey in words the key lies in being consistent. Gradually you can meditate without the voice-over as well the very essence of this meditation is to remain conscious of not just our breath. But also our every action mentally and physically.

10 Interesting & Useful Ayurvedic Facts About Your Body That You Should Know

In this video, I'm going to share with you 10 interesting ayurvedic facts about your body. Knowing these facts you will have a better understanding of your body due to which you can make smarter choices about food and lifestyle.

Thus helping you achieve your fitness goals much more effectively.

So without any further delay, let's get started.

Hello friends, welcome to Get Fit Info. Let's begin with fact number one.

10 Interesting & Useful Ayurvedic Facts About Your Body That You Should Know

Fact Number 1: The Right Weight is Not Based on BMI

According to Ayurveda, the right weight for a person should be judged by their body type not according to basic parameters like BMI.

Let's for a moment take three people of equal heights.

First is Vata type, second is dominated by Pitta, and while third has Kapha as predominant.

The weight of A is 60 kgs, B 65 kgs and C is 70 kgs. Now all these can be perfectly fit and healthy yet the difference in their weights is only pertaining to their respective body types.

As Vata types are naturally thin. Pitta is average built while Kapha has heavy bends. This is why Ayurveda is clear that the weight of a person is not necessarily the metric of fitness.

So keep this fact in consideration, the next time you step on a weighing scale.

10 Interesting & Useful Ayurvedic Facts About Your Body That You Should Know

Fact Number 2: Your Body Knows When to Eat What and It Can Ask You

You will be amazed to know how the body's intelligence governs our palate to restore balance. Let's understand with an example.

If you have eaten ice cream, three days in a row the thought of more ice cream will not be appealing to you like how we say ice cream.

Nah... I'm bored of it rather your body will crave for something spicy to burn up the Kapha and counteract it and you might say come let's today eat momos.

This is why Ayurveda promises that if one carefully listens to such signals of the body, he will not need a dietitian to tell him, What he needs to eat?

So if someday you feel like eating a sweet eat it. Even if it was not a part of your diet plan.

Fact Number 3: You Can Find What is Lacking in Your Diet

How the same herb can taste completely different to two persons? Triphala for example provides all the tastes except salty. But it tends to yield the predominant taste that is lacking in the body. Let's say a person mostly stays away from bitter foods like a bitter guard.

Now if he tastes Triphala, he would find it to be bitter for some time. Another person who has a strong aversion to sweets might taste Triphala and find it to be sweet. Although, both the person tasted the same herb.

Interesting isn't it? This is also a potent way to determine what taste is lacking in a diet.

Ayurveda considers a dye to be perfectly balanced. If it comprises all the six tastes.

Fact Number 4: Early Morning is Good for Learning

Have you heard about the significance of Brahma Murat? According to Ayurveda, the day is composed of 30 periods of 48 minutes. Each called Muharrax, Brahma, and Mahurath is the time span of 96 minutes before sunrise until 48 minutes before sunrise.

If sunrise occurs at 6:00 am Brahma Muharrath at that location on that day would be from 4:24 Am to 5 12 Am. Changing daily ancient sages notice that at this time the mind's learning capacity, the ability to focus and concentrate is much higher.

Ideas pour in effortlessly once try studying during Brahma-Bhurat. You will definitely be able to experience the difference in the output during Brahmaputra.

The environment is also the cleanest. Trees accelerate their production of oxygen noise and calls are absent. It is also an ideal time to do yoga and meditation.

Fact Number 5: Gut is Everything

Have you ever wondered why Ayurveda states that almost all diseases begin in your gut? Ayurveda says that the balance of doshas is healthy. While any imbalance of doshas causes disease and all the three doshas namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha reside in the gut.

To be precise Vata lives in the large intestine, pitta in the small intestine, and Kapha in the stomach.

This is the reason Ayurveda gives so much importance to seemingly minor issues like acidity, gas heaviness bad breath bloating, and weak appetite.

One should never ignore them by simply popping a pill. Instead, we should get vigilant as this little disease may be an onset of disease. this brings me to fact number six.

Fact Number 6: Six Stages of Disease

Ayurveda identifies six stages of disease development. In the first stage minor stirs of imbalance occur at the residing place of the dosha in the gut. The symptoms are more of a discomfort. A bloated tummy, excessive hunger, sluggishness, emotions, etc.

They can easily be avoided. Remember the fact we just discussed. Yes by listening to the body's inner wisdom, if the increased doshas are not pacified, it enters stage number 2. Where the discomfort versus causing constipation or heartburn or cough.

It's here that we tend to pop a pill but that doesn't tap the root cause and the dosha enters stage 3. Now out of the gut, it starts spreading in the body.

Symptoms can be cold hands and feet or acne or lethargy in stage 4. The moving dosha finds body tissues where there is weakness and calls it home.

This is the beginning stage of a felt and visible disease. Symptoms can be popping of joints, increased heat in a specific body part or common cold in stage 5.

The dosha further damages the tissues causing Arthritis or Inflammation or the sinus

If still unmanaged in stage 6, the tissue damage becomes severe and irreversible in some cases. Maybe the joint completely breaks down or internal bleeding happens or tumor formation is there quite a journey that is isn't it.  That is why Ayurveda presses on proactive care so that one is able to catch hold of the disease at the initial stages.

Fact Number 7: Your Tongue Can be a Great Taste Finder

We cannot taste food if our tongue is completely dry. Remember how we say my mouth waters at mere thinking about pizza. This is because the water element on the tongue in the form of saliva is associated with the sense of taste.

It's evident why people who have Vata predominant dosha which means their body is internally dry as compared to other body types do not have a great sense of taste.

They are somewhat less picky about their food pitta people. In this respect, have a moderate sense of taste while Kapha people who are dominated by water element in their body and have high saliva on their tongues have an amazing sense of taste.

They will point out even a slight variation in the taste of a dish. Having a great sense of taste kapha people often can't do without eating tasty food so much so that food tends to become their weakness.

Well to avoid that you should opt for making restaurant-style food at home.

Fact Number 8: Emotions are Related to Organs

Emotions have an affinity with certain organs. Happiness and sadness with the heart, anger with the liver, hatred with the gallbladder, kidneys with fear, nervousness with the colon, while stomach with temptation.

Well, how can this fact help us? It is noticeable how when we feel nervous. We tend to have problems with digestion or the saying that happiness is in the heart not in the circumstance.

One takeaway is that if we exercise a particular emotion excessively the respective organ will be affected. When you hate somebody you are negatively affecting the functioning of your gallbladder.

If you get angry more than often then you are damaging your liver. So you can say don't drink and get angry as you are doing double damage to your liver.

This fact shows again how the mind and body are so intricately connected.

Fact Number 9: Low Temperature is Good for Body

Have you wondered why people living in colder climates tend to live longer?

Well in the deep of the night just after our deepest sleep around 4:30 A.m, our bodies are at their lowest temperature.

Low body temperatures are associated with healing as proteins work slower and create less waste.

Restorative functions take over and strengthening of tissues occurs at this time this may also be the reason why sages tend to move up into the hills and higher altitudes each day our body dips into this low temperature to give us a new start.

However, this doesn't mean that you push on an air conditioner trying to mimic cold climates. Since low body temperature is associated with healing.

Ayurveda generally recommends cold baths as most beneficial for the body.

Fact Number 10: Three Stages of Life

Ayurveda divides the human lifespan into three stages at each stage certain characteristics are more common. Childhood is the age of Kapha. This is evident as children's bodies are growing and building up their structure.

An intrinsic property of Kapha their bodies are soft and gentle. They require more sleep than adults and they are susceptible to Kapha illnesses such as colds and congestion.

Adulthood exhibits more characteristics of pitta. Remember how acne breakouts are common when you just enter adulthood. That's pitta the fire element below the skin.

Moreover, in adulthood, we are more competitive, aggressive, ambitious than in childhood. We work hard. Can do with less sleep and are prone to pitta-type inflammatory disorders like acidity gastritis and ulcers.

Old age is the age of Vata. That's when degeneration of the body begins to take place. Body pains cracking of joints, arthritis, weak memory, broken sleep are common.

This shows that our age and stage of life are factors that should be considered in the choices we make to keep our doshas in balance.
